Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Ratings & Reviews
- Delroy G JamesSeptember 17, 2025Before watching the movie, I went back to the original series and watched the episode Space Seed, where Khan first appears. That connection made the film much more meaningful, because you can feel how the story grows from the series into the movie. What stood out to me most was how the conflict was presented. In many ways, it wasn’t about people fighting each other directly, but about ships battling ships. The struggle played out through tactics, positioning, and strategy rather than hand-to-hand conflict. That gave it a tense, almost naval-war feel in space, which I really liked. At the same time, the film balanced this with very human themes—aging, loss, and the legacy people leave behind. Those deeper elements gave weight to the action and made the story about more than just combat. Overall, The Wrath of Khan is a very good film. I especially enjoyed how it targeted both aspects: the thrilling ship-to-ship battles and the emotional human questions beneath them. It holds up as both an exciting science-fiction story and a thoughtful continuation of Star Trek’s original series.

- TubzJuly 31, 2025The best Star Trek movie based on the original series, sold script and acting. Ricardo Montalbán again plays Khan to perfection.
