- 匚卂尺ㄥ5d agoThis film traces the life's of stan & ollie behind the scenes that the public never knew about. although, it must of been asked what were stan and ollie like off stage? the answer is in this film. a fitting tribute to the world's greatest comedy duo. even today there comedy thrills and delight young and old alike and still draws in new audiences. the two main actors deliver a powerhouse performance that you would think that this is the real stan and ollie. nor, do the two actors tarnish the spirit of the real laurel and hardy. Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly are stan and ollie a masterpiece of film and rightly deserves a 5 gold star rating in all it's offering. the film does have some sad and moving parts. even when stan and ollie full out with each other. but somehow there is this gap between them that only them and them alone can fulfil. the duo are facing a uncertain future and so set out on a tour of Great Britain and Ireland. arguments between the two and ollie suffering from a heart attack being them more together. this is a 5 gold star film with a 5 gold star powerhouse performances from the main two leading actors (Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly) a film that delights and let's you see what was really behind the scenes of Laurel and Hardy. the real Laurel and Hardy will always be on the silver screen they will never tarnish. today they are loved by the world over. and with this film as a fitting tribute to stan and ollie will also to, be amongst there history.
