- thomasrogers753April 12, 2026Am I crazy for not thinking this was hilarious? Maybe it’s just not my type of humor.
- Risk The BardApril 22, 2025this exceeded every expectation i had. some dated humor but there's something deeply sincere about this movie.
- LivewireAdminFebruary 3, 2026Just a phenomenal comedy filled with some of the best visual and editing gags ever. Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and company knocked it out of the park.
- Darren KnightJune 8, 2025Excellent zombie movie
- Magnus CarlbaumApril 5, 2025The perfect comedy. The attention to detail alone is off the charts. The references, the cast, the comedic timing. The editing, the soundtrack, the quotes... Every single thing, every single part is just pure gold standard. A must watch.
- James BlandfordJanuary 14, 2026The background jokes are just as funny as the dialogue! You need to watch this actively. Really good film 5/5
- oconnors2nzJanuary 3, 2026Such a classic. The writing, performances and the complete absurdity of the situation. A must-see and it ages pretty well.
- LogastinDecember 6, 2025I saw this film when it came out in theaters in the US when my friend from England told me I had to see it. I was in high school, and I begged my mom to take me. We both loved it. I quote it to this day, and it is one of my top favorite movies, ever. One of the best zombie films, period. As Simon Pegg put it: “Death is an impediment, not an energy drink."
- JakeysDecember 26, 2025Hot Fuzz has the tighter story, but this one's the one I rewatch more. Not a pisstake on zombie movies, a love letter.
- tomisto7October 18, 2025Bloomin lovely
- JarvistkdOctober 12, 2025Zombie comedy classic
- flavo43December 6, 2025Shaun of the Dead (2004) redefined the zombie genre by turning it into a razor-sharp comedy without losing the thrills. Edgar Wright’s direction balances horror and humor brilliantly, creating a film that is both absurdly funny and surprisingly heartfelt. The zombie effects are impressive, with practical makeup and physical gags that rival traditional horror films, while the chaotic fight sequences are staged with inventive flair. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost shine as the unlikely heroes, their banter and bumbling decisions making you wonder if real people might act this way in an apocalypse. The dialogue is witty, self-aware, and packed with quotable lines, while the script cleverly satirizes both horror tropes and everyday life. By blending genuine tension with laugh-out-loud absurdity, Shaun of the Dead stands as one of the most unique and well-crafted entries in modern comedy cinema.
- clysherNovember 11, 2025One of the best films ever made. Amazing casting, a joke a minute, and real emotional stakes. Genre defining perfection.
- HomeNASMainUserNovember 7, 2025Classic. Silly. Good writing, cinematography, and characters.
