Toñín, a fourteen-year-old kid, enters to work as an errand boy in the flower shop "El Pensamiento". His first task is to bring the bouquet to a bride, but he gets held up, arrives late, and is forced to go to church during the ceremony. His second job is to carry a death wreath, but he uses it to save a man who was drowning in the river. Naturally, he is also late for burial. In the afternoon, he must bring a basket of flowers to television studios, where the famous singer Carolina performs. But he is wrong and takes another death crown, which they deliver to the star in a great close-up. Finally, he is sent to a costume party, where he will meet the children's movie star Mariluz.
