- kieran.charette17 aprile 2026I saw this in theaters when I was a kid and remember loving it, rewatching it now 26 years later I can admit, it is not a good movie BUT it is fun. It is way too long, could have easily been 90 minutes. Aaliyah was not a good lead role choice but she does her best, I know it's her first role. there are some stand out performances from a few people, anthoney anderson is great and Isaiah Washington is fantastic. The wire work is not good but it really does add a fun charm to the choreography. Jet li does a wonderful job, he is adorable in his interactions with Aaliyah and he nails the action as always.
