Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Ratings & Reviews
- leeartleeMarch 3, 2025It’s easy to hate on this movie for a variety of reasons. But in my opinion, it’s a fun reenactment of the familiar RE1/RE2 games. I just wish they went even harder on the source material.
- dannybeaulieu83April 29, 2025Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is a bloody, fun throwback with solid scares and fan service. It’s messy, but if you don’t take it too seriously, it delivers exactly what it promises.
- cartman678April 17, 2025A low budget resident evil is not something that was technically needed. that being said it was not a terrible movie.
- DigitalDisappointmentMarch 3, 2025Absolutely terrible series of movies. They bear no resemblance to the game nor do they do a good job of being a movie in their own right. It's like the most half-assed effort all around.
- NonPlayableContentJanuary 25, 2025Having sunk hundreds of hours in the games I did like the fan service obviously. Mentions of the operation for Bravo team aka Resident Evil Zeros gameplay plus lesser known characters getting screen time, it was in my opinion non intrusive and not gatekept enjoyment either. Some stuff was goofy (fire zombie) while some stuff was surprisingly good like the settings and designs are all creepy to the max. Practical always looks best and they tried their hardest.
