- ScottDecember 14, 2024A pre-history horror is such a fun and novel idea. The ultimate solution to having to contrive a reason of why cell phones don’t work, setting it in a period where we collectively know next to nothing is very powerful. Everything is a threat as you make your way literally and figuratively out of darkness. There’s so much care in the production (to the point where the cast and crew developed a proto-language) that I recommend it just on that merit.
- adam3199July 7, 2025In prehistoric times the cast ticked every diversity and inclusion check box. Even words hurt them and they needed to retreat to safe spaces...seriously. It gets half a star only because I cannot give it zero
- RyezooFebruary 4, 2025This movie had a lot going for it, great atmosphere, score, and an interesting premise. I liked where it went, but the journey to get there was a little tideious and pacing a little slow. Cinematography was great at times and annoying in some. Worth a watch, but this isn’t a movie for everybody.
