Famed Canadian-American leftist documentary filmmaker Leonard Fife was one of sixty thousand draft evaders and deserters who fled to Canada to avoid serving in Vietnam. - rk190810March 12, 2025Trudeau acted OK, espcially towards the end.
- Kevin WardJanuary 30, 2025I came away very mixed on this. Richard Gere gives an excellent performance, and I like the unreliable narrative aspect of him recounting his life. Reminded me a bit of Anthony Hopkins, in The Father. Unfortunately, I just never much connected with the story. But I wasn’t enamored with Schrader’s Man in a Room Trilogy either though so if you liked those could probably safe watching this one.
