He turns against wealthy and unscrupulous men who control the chemical factories. The most powerful of them happens to have an erotic relationship with our hero's ex-wife. One day while doing his TV-show concerning the environmental conditions, he dares to say the truth and soon he ends up imprisoned. When he is released, he does the same, until he pays the price.
