- DaveApril 14, 2025I thought this was going to be some sort of cash grab movie they invested no real effort or time into producing, I was mostly wrong. There are some fun parts, they changed up her solo status and gave her a crew of misfits. Looks like this is the beginning of a franchise of films. Cant say I have a problem with it but I can see that if they cant make it a bit more emotionally taxing the movies will not perform like the first. I enjoyed it but something was missing.

The story is a fun, lighthearted adventure with the same beautiful world and beloved characters. While the plot feels a bit weaker and the villain is forgettable, the new songs are catchy, the comedy is hilarious (Heihei steals the show again), and the animation is stunning. It’s a charming and enjoyable follow-up that successfully avoids feeling like a cheap cash grab.
