I mean, the protagonist looked like was a direct descendant of Villain from stranger things rather than Rakthbeej. Bollywood will never learn from their mistakes. Please avoid at all costs. I feel sorry for the people who watched it in the theatres
- macaronzJuly 11, 2026To be blunt, this film was a massive disappointment. It tackles a very specific horror premise, but fails to deliver the atmosphere or execution required to make it work. If you are looking for a genuinely chilling experience on the exact same topic, you are infinitely better off watching Chhorii (2021) instead. That film handles the suspense, folklore, and maternal horror with the kind of depth and execution that Maa completely lacks.
