I recently revisited Jeepers Creepers 2 after a long hiatus, and it still holds up. While the original remains my personal favorite, this sequel is a solid follow-up especially considering how much the later installments in the franchise declined in quality. It captures that classic 2000s horror vibe perfectly; if you're looking for a dose of nostalgia, it's definitely worth a watch. It’s got that gritty, old-school horror aesthetic that I really miss. Makeup artist deserves a big thumbs up he did a good job even though it's a low budget film but still gives you solid horror vibe.

I'm surprised people are giving this movie such good reviews. As a sequel we still don't know anything more about the monster, it's origins, where it came from, why it does what it does just every 23rd spring it eats for 23 days which seems kind of arbitrary. I'm just saying the was plenty of room for storytelling which can be much more tantalising and frightening than gratuitous gore and violence. The plot was completely linear and takes place almost entirely on a school bus - "oh no, there's a creature out there, call for help" the character of Scotty is portrayed as a jealous bigot as is the other straight yt alpha male character who are also represented as being homophobic. Just one of the first in a long line of Hollywood movies propagating hatred for the alpha male through negative stereotypes. Hollywood dislikes portraying strong males in a positive light in its stance against toxic masculinity so all of the male characters are useless when it comes to, not just fighting the monster, but doing anything. It took a female cheerleader to jam one of the school's javelins through the top of a school bus which is made of thick steel and then into the monster twice. How this was possible I don't know. Then instead of calling the police the guy whose son was taken at the beginning of the movie arrogantly and ignorantly decides to forego that decision and selfishly fight the monster himself, but that's toxic masculinity for you. A bus full of superior male athletes and the females are the only ones capable of rational thought and decision making.

Heart warming and wonderful kids movie, with a few jokes adults will get a kick out of.
