- mitch donabergerApril 13, 2025This movie originally was meant to serve as an allegory for the audience, applauding senseless violence simply because their perspective is shifted. However, in 2025, now that Nazis aren't nearly as controversial anymore, it hits different. May this movie serve as a warning of shifting appetites. Nobody is going to stay being polite to Nazis for much longer.
- darsanMay 24, 2025"you know somethin', utivich? i think this just might be my masterpiece." christoph waltz and brad pitt were GOATED in thiss and it's even better the second time and i can't wait to see brad pitt again in the f1 movie next month. quentin tarantino is definitely one of the best directors out there who captures gore and humor perfectly and it's amazing to see.
- Sean MurphyMay 30, 2025I feel a movie like this is just top tier. Dialogue,plot,action, cinematography soundtrack, cast...it's just top tier all around. I could understand if some just can't handle the violence and I could understand that but if you can get past that IB had some of the absolute best acting you will see in a film ever.

- JakeysJanuary 3, 2026Really, really good. I can see why many people consider this his best work. The writing, the imagery, the acting, awesome. The scene in the underground bar with Fassbender is one of the most gripping things I've ever watched, genuinely captivating. The intro isn't far off. Everything in this movie is firing on all cylinders. Ironically, the Basterds themselves were the least interesting thing in this movie. Brad Pitt's great in it, but the other guys less so and the characters were completely outshined by everyone else.

- makdelartFebruary 26, 2026Within its genre, I agree, I consider this film a masterpiece. It is Tarantino's best film and nothing will change that. Everything works here: Tarantino's dialogues are long, but not boring at all, the actors are great, Waltz is delicious, the cinematography, editing, soundtrack - everything works beautifully and two and a half hours fly by in a flash.
