Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers Ratings & Reviews
- Ecto-1AOctober 4, 2025🎃 New mask. Same evil. No escape. 🔪 Halloween 4 isn’t the franchise’s peak, but it’s a confident return to form after the Myers-less misstep of Part III. It plays it safe, sure, but in doing so rekindles the eerie small-town terror fans craved. The mask took years to grow on me — proof that sometimes, “less is more.” Now, it stands as one of my unexpected favorites.
- thirdparty1626d agoUnbelievable
- DARTH VADEROctober 16, 2025This is the Halloween sequel that best captures the look, feel, mood and atmosphere of the original, with solid characters which is few and far between in slashers and this is Donald Pleasance best performance as Dr Loomis in my opinion, overall this is a very solid and really well done Halloween movie, the only problem is the mask, other than that it's a top tier Halloween film and if I was ranking the Halloween franchise, this would make my top 3 100%. 🎃 🔪
- ronnie36832October 12, 2025The best sequel to the original Halloween movie.
- ZokkiieAugust 16, 2025Michael Myers is back in Haddonfield, and this one plays it pretty safe. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s got the classic slasher vibe, some solid creepy moments, and Danielle Harris is great as Jamie. Not the best in the series, not the worst—just a decent Halloween watch.
- StephenAugust 5, 2025Not the best but not the worst. Definitely a rebirth to the story line.
- Carlos IbarraApril 10, 2025Yes, the mask looks dumb as hell, and it's largely bloodless, but this is a fantastic sequel. It's right behind the original for me. By adding in the "legend of Michael Myers" element and having the lead in peril be an adorable child, this pumps the dread and horror back into this franchise. Then you add Loomis into the equation, as an Ahab-like character... it's just perfect. I love this one.
- Charles Corey StewartOctober 20, 2024Absolutely loved it!
- The Gutter MonkeyOctober 23, 2024If it were handled more seriously, I'd enjoy it more. But Michael's OP-ness is too close to magic, the twists feel forced, and I was cringing every other minute. It wasn't terrible (for the genre) but I can't see myself watching it again.
