Halloween 4 isnāt the franchiseās peak, but itās a confident return to form after the Myers-less misstep of Part III. It plays it safe, sure, but in doing so rekindles the eerie small-town terror fans craved. The mask took years to grow on me ā proof that sometimes, āless is more.ā Now, it stands as one of my unexpected favorites.
