Family Portrait
Directed by Antonio Giménez RicoCecilio Rubes, a businessman engaged in the manufacture of bathtubs and toilets, tries to remain neutral in the imminent Spanish civil war. But the attitude of his only child Cecil, a spoiled boy growing up not respecting his parents, forces him to face reality and cold facts. The film jumps back and forth in time to show his past and present through his wife Adela and Paula, the mistress of father and son.
