Directed by Antonio Giménez-RicoDon Diego, an old feudal lord, goes to the war, leaving his son Gonzalo in his place, imposing only one limitation on his power: two women, mother and daughter, living in a remote mill. The miller Elvira, one of Don Diego's lovers, has a beautiful daughter, Elena, and Gonzalo's desire is focused on both of them. But Elena is also Don Diego's daughter, and to avoid incest, she is married to a young shepherd named Rodrigo.
