Five young Norwegians head up to the mountains to snowboard. One breaks his leg as darkness starts to fall, so they spend the night in a big, abandoned hotel that was closed 30 years ago. They are not alone.
- BogenbroomSeptember 8, 2026An excellent slasher. There are two things that raise this above the crowd. First, the characters are (almost) all enjoyable and relatable, with some several of the actors exhibiting a great deal of charisma. There are no characters who are obnoxious or detestable. How many slashers can say that. Second, at the start, despite knowing kills are coming, how they arrive is unexpected.
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025I really thought this would be better. I’d had it on my own slashpick list for a while and almost chose it twice. It’s technically a franchise already and I’ve always thought there should be more snowy slashers. Alas, they didn’t really feel like it was worthy of launching a franchise. Credit to the Ice-cold killer with a bone 🦴to pick.⛏️ though.
- Scott ThomasJune 14, 2025Well that was very disappointing. I can’t even say it was a good try at making a slasher.
