Chaos: The Manson Murders Ratings & Reviews
- Mr7March 11, 2025Not all documentaries are meant to be fast paced action narratives, like people seem to want this one to be. They can't all be Icarus. However, the reviews on this calling it things like "conspiracy fodder" are just seriously uneducated. Chaos is a book by Pulitzer prize winning author and investigative journalist Tom O'Neil. Unfortunately it's not conspiracy theory it's conspiracy fact. If you don't "believe" this, you're just seriously ignorant on the subject. O'Neil spent 20 yrs compiling the info linking Manson to the CIA. It's time to look at all the evidence and realize the truth about the world you live in. The US is a post WW2 country where a majority of the foundations of the world still in place today are a direct result of the teamwork between the intelligence community, big business and organized crime in the US during WW2. Eisenhower talked about this when he left office, then Kennedy replaced him and said he was gonna end it all. What happened to him? I would encourage you to read Whitney Webb's books. Watch documentaries like Mafia Spies and JFK Destiny Betrayed and to look at all the leaked documents.
- cultfilmlikerMarch 8, 2025Callous as fuck lol It attempts to simplify the biggest, most notorious, most outreaching conspiracy theory of all time into an hour and a half so believe it or not it leaves out some things, but not a bad doc. You think Errol Morris has seen Duality?
- capitolfiMarch 13, 2025So apparently the book actually offers up something new... This doc does not. It's the same shit that's been regurgitated ad nauseum in who knows how many other fucking flicks. There's some conjecture about a possible tie to the MKUltra program, but it's a flimsy connection...at least in terms of how it is presented here. LSD was always a significant part of Manson's conditioning of his family. Grasping at straws doesn't warrant another "new" (bullshit) look at Manson & company. It's exploitative and pointless.
