- sixx84November 4, 2025I don’t think it’s aged too well. Probably great in the 70’s. Not a recommendation from me.
- RickFebruary 12, 2025I kept hoping she would just have a nice prom night, even though I had an idea what was coming. Honestly, if you turn it off when she gets voted prom queen you have a nice feel good movie on your hands.
- SuperSaiyanCurtOctober 20, 2025I luv the movie 🎥 it so good
- eyeofthetornadoJuly 26, 2025it’s a raw, haunting portrayal of adolescence, alienation, and awakening. Beneath its supernatural thrills lies a powerful subtext: the triumph, however tragic, of the bullied and the silenced. Carrie White’s journey from meek, repressed outsider to a force of nature is both terrifying and deeply cathartic. De Palma masterfully uses horror not only to scare but to symbolize the fury and freedom of a girl becoming a woman in a world that fears both.
- Eric BakkeNovember 5, 2024Carrie stands out as one of the strongest Stephen King adaptations, perfectly capturing the cruelty and fear that defines high school hierarchy. Brian De Palma delivers a stylish, intense film, but the over-sexualization of the teenage female characters is way too excessive and extremely uncomfortable, making Carrie almost unwatchable at times. Despite this, Carrie remains a classic, but it’s a story that could benefit from a more modern, sensitive retelling.
- hamedtahaOctober 4, 2025was ok , I didn't like it that much
- SandyOlson78October 3, 2025The acting was really good. The way everyone treats the girls is awful.
- tellumAugust 22, 2025Practically everything in this movie became a trope in horror, teen movies, and drama in general.
- CharlotteCOSMICOctober 17, 2024Fantastic film with great use of raw cinematics - a tad bit over the top in some parts, but where that really counted made it great! (like when the teacher bitch slapped a bully - instant relief and a sign that humanity and its justice prevails). Too sad an ending though.
