World Invasion : Battle Los Angeles Notations et commentaires
- Jørgen Slings6 avril 2026Mindless army movie under the pretence of sci-fi.
- ርልዪረ3 février 2025Great film, has everything you want from an action flick. Good to see a classic story of good prevailing. I don’t want to watch a film where I have to guess the ending, use my imagination, I can do that at anytime, I want to be told a story and this does just that. I want a film where I get to see a start, middle and end, and this delivers. Got to be a classic by now. For a normal person this won’t disappoint. If you’re a self proclaimed film critic this is probably not for you, because you’re most likely a bell. Cheers
- Paul Schwartz26 août 2025I really enjoyed this movie, i don't understand the hate. I was entertained
- john adams31 mars 2026Entertaining and lots of action, enjoyed it
- Thomas Chludzinski28 février 2025Is it the cinematic masterpiece of our time? No. Was it super fun to get a little baked and watch an alien ground invasion of LA? Heck yeah.
- Das_Lama8 juin 2025I've watched this twice and liked it. My observations: 1. Somebody in movie land can remember an entire platoon's Social Security Number(s). Impressive. 2. This movie was just alien invasion fun. No need to dissect it. Don't dissect any of the Sharknado movies either. 3. Alien ships are remarkably easy to kill, even with basic weapons. 4. The characters in this movie were not even half as annoying as that atrocity that was Independence Day 2. 5. I was not rooting for the aliens, unlike while watching Independence Day 2. 6. If I am ever tasked with being an alien invader leader, I will be more prepared to deal with minor annoyances that can FUBAR the mission. 7. Related to #6: I can only guess that it would take a while to travel to Earth. I would suggest aliens use that time to make a solid plan during the trip. 8. I probably wouldn't land an alien ship any where near a U.S.M.C. base. This just defies logic.
- Dave31 mars 2025Almost the entire battle takes place in San Diego...... Wha........
- Zokkiie26 décembre 2025This one has some intense action and decent special effects, but the story is thin, and the characters feel pretty forgettable. It’s fun in bursts, but overall it’s just another generic alien invasion flick. Good for a popcorn night, nothing more.
- stuhannaford13 décembre 2025When it’s good, it’s genuinely tense and exciting. When it’s not, it’s quite slow and dull… which is unexpected for a blockbuster that should be relying on thrills. It’s also got some odd pacing issues, where boring elements are long and drawn out (of course there is the required ‘speech’) and then other parts, which are edge of your seat, suddenly end with little fanfare. All that being said, it has the aspects you’d hope for from such a film, big explosions, great shots etc, and on the whole is an enjoyable watch, with more exciting than boring moments. Eckhart is the main draw, plays his part well, and at times gets you into the Maximus Mood, where you feel you’d follow him into battle yourself, given half a chance. It’s not winning any awards, but it’s entertaining and the tension keeps you watching.
- K.Roehm20 novembre 2025It was an ok movie. A little too dramatic, but the action scenes were plentiful and the storyline was good
- Hipster ZOMBIE1 avril 2025Battle: Los Angeles is a gritty, action-packed alien invasion film that delivers intense battle sequences and introduces great characters even if the overall plot is paper thin. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film follows a group of U.S. Marines, led by Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz (Aaron Eckhart), as they fight to reclaim Los Angeles from a ruthless extraterrestrial force. It’s US Marines vs Aliens in a knockdown drag out fight. One of the film’s strongest aspects is its realistic, documentary-style cinematography. The handheld camera work and chaotic action sequences create an immersive, boots-on-the-ground experience, making viewers feel as though they are embedded in the war zone. The film’s special effects are also commendable, particularly in depicting the alien invaders and their advanced weaponry. Think Black Hawk Down meets Independence Day. It’s an entertaining action film for a guys night.
