- Crystal Lake
One month to go, until my most anticipated show of 2026 premiers. Linda Cardellini is the perfect choice to play Pamela Voorhees. Can't wait to see how they expand upon the whole Friday the 13th lore as well. With what I've seen in the trailer; I'm quietly optimistic, that we're in for something very good here. October the 15th can't come quick enough. I've got my Fingers Crossed 🤞🤞 that "Crystal Lake" is going to be good. After I finish watching all 8 episodes, I'm going to rate & review the first season. And also rank all of the episodes, from my least to my most favourite episode in the "My Discussions" category.Crystal LakePhysicalMedia4Life2026年9月14日 - Fall 2: Deadpoint
Fall 2: Deadpoint immediately finds a nastier playground than its predecessor. The Devil's Elbow is all exposed rock, collapsing footholds, and sheer drops that leave the characters looking absurdly small against the mountain, while the camera frequently pulls back just far enough to make the next few feet of climbing feel like an impossible distance. You can almost feel the weight shifting beneath their hands. Luce and Jax sell that physical exhaustion well, throwing themselves into the mud, cold, and increasingly punishing terrain. For a while, the sequel seems to understand exactly what made the first film work and simply turns the dial higher. Then the script gets in its own way. Just as the survival tension reaches its strongest stretch, an unnecessary subplot barges into the movie and starts dictating character behavior that never feels earned. The problem isn't that the film introduces an ugly or uncomfortable idea; it's that the idea feels bolted onto a survival thriller that was functioning perfectly well without it. The characters become forced by a screenplay that hasn't been properly built, and the final stretch loses the raw simplicity that made the mountain so effective in the first place. Deadpoint finds a more terrifying setting, then fumbles the advantage with a narrative detour that didn't have to be there.Fall 2: DeadpointGarrett Wilkins2026年9月10日 - SNlPERMIKE2026年9月28日
- Matchbox the Movie
It is just a gang of Matchbox Kids who loved collecting the iconic toys and turning their hobby into a social gathering. But life always changes as you get older, even more-so when one of them turns out to be a spy and drags them all into a deadly espionage situation that takes them around the globe. At least the non-spies all have a talent that will come handy in these situations, and the writers do a fun job in setting it up nicely. The fighting scenes with Crena are always spot-on, and the over-the-top action is done to perfection (wouldn't expect anything less from a stunt person turn director). Yes, it is filled with cliches and silliness, but it's these ridiculous things that make this a great high explosive entertaining movie...Matchbox the Movie - Matthew Rotherham2026年8月8日
- Runner
Take Alan Ritchson (the *Reacher* giant), pair him with Owen Wilson, and unleash a criminal cartel led by a cynical Rodrigo Santoro against them. That is exactly what this is: a 98-minute shot of pure adrenaline where the laws of physics are treated as optional. The plot is incredibly simple, but director Scott Waugh (a former stuntman) transforms an urgent medical transport mission into a wild, spectacular high-speed chase. Action fans will go crazy for the breakneck pace and the brawls; even skeptics who might roll their eyes at the clichés will still enjoy the banter and the excellent chemistry between this "odd couple." It won’t win an Oscar for its screenplay, but as a source of popcorn entertainment, it definitely makes the grade.Runnercorradodalco2026年9月26日 - Lanterns
I love this pilot episode so much. It's gritty and raw and funny and a hint of darkness. Chandler is a great actor for this character and Pierre supports him well. I can't wait for the next episode. My favorite line isn't "Are you afraid?"; it's "Are you beeping?" 😆LanternsDaevid Vincent2026年8月17日 - Resident Evil
Typically video game adaptations strip out a lot of the gameplay sections and try to focus on the story and lore. Resident Evil takes the opposite approach. It removes any real connectivity to the characters or story of Resident Evil, really just using loose references to Umbrella and Raccoon City to instead focus on capturing the atmosphere of the games instead. It's a radical approach, and if you can divorce yourself from the need of characters like Leon Kennedy, it works shockingly well. Unlike Creggar's prior movies, there aren't a ton of unique twists to the story. It's a straightforward mission. However, Resident Evil retains Creggar's unique blend of comedy and horror. There is a surprising amount of laugh-out-loud comedy here, but it always remains balanced against the rest of the movie. Austin Abrams has fantastic comedic timing and line deliveries, and Creggar pokes fun at plenty of horror and game tropes throughout. At roughly 90 minutes of runtime, the movie feels incredibly efficient, propulsive and never boring, instantly jumping into the action and constantly changing up the set pieces to keep things fresh. The cinematography is sharp and distinctive from the very first set piece, utilizing colors, swiveling cameras, and first person "video game" perspectives to build atmosphere. The score is actually really well-designed. It fades in and out throughout, leaving plenty of quiet moments but knowing when to create a high-intensity rhythmic beat at others. There are effective jump scares and unique character designs throughout. While the movie may not reference characters or stories from Resident Evil, it is clear Creggar is deeply familiar with the franchise as there are plenty of nods to various game mechanics. These are moments that only people who play the games will recognize, but they illustrate how the silliness and campiness of some of the restrictions from the games actually translate into a movie. The movie's reputation will unfortunately be marred by people who wanted a version of the game stories, and as a big fan of the gaming franchise, I get where they are coming from. However, Creggar has done something much more interesting with this movie that still very much honors the games, and it is worth watching with an open mind. I will flag that I am still not sure how I feel about the ending of the movie, but that's a small nitpick. At the end of the day, this is just a very fun horror-comedy movie, easy to watch, adrenaline-generating, and most importantly, just a blast to watch on the large screen.Resident Evil - Buddy
Everybody needs a Buddy! This was SO GREAT, it’s exactly what I wanted it to be. The set design, the practical effects, the humour were all top notch. I’ve seen a bunch of these mascot/animatronics horror movies but this one was the best! Can’t wait to see what Casper Kelly does next! He definitely knows how to make a great horror comedy.BuddySirMonkalot2026年8月2日 - Dragon Ball Super: Beerus

The OdysseyWhy did people do this??
When I checked some stuff about the movie a few days before it was released, I saw a bunch of people that had already reviewed this movie and saying that it was GOING to suck or that it’s GOING to be terrible, like you can’t review a movie before you’ve seen it. I watched the movie a few days ago and I thought it was great, and I don’t see any reason to why people would hate on it before it released. Sure it’s long, but so are many movies that people like; Lord Of The Rings, The Godfather, Titanic, and the list goes on. And yeah, it does make significant changes to Homer’s book, now I haven’t read the book though I know a lot about it but here’s the thing many people fail to understand: The Odyssey is one of the most complex and big stories ever, and if you’re gonna adapt it into film, you gotta make significant changes in order for it to work. Otherwise it would be like 4 hours long which i think people wouldn’t like any better. Don’t review a film unless you’ve seen it.Edgar_thaFNaFnerdThe Odyssey2026年8月2日

Grey's AnatomyGrey's Anatomy Nut
I can't help it. I really like Grey's Anatomy! It's more than just a hospital drama. There's heartbreak, relationships, and unexpected twists that keep you coming back for more. I stumbled across this show by accident, and I've been hooked ever since! If you enjoy a good medical drama that pulls you in and keeps you wanting more, give this one a try!ChristyGrey's Anatomy1日前
LanternsCoach Taylor as a superhero?!
(Emily, Co-President) I’m not usually the first person to jump at a superhero show, normally I wait for people to recommend / tell me I’m going to like it. But HBO has a way of putting a spin on things that makes me lean in and want to watch. And it usually comes down to the characters and the dynamics between them. So, yes, I am both curious and excited about Lanterns. With Damon Lindelof (Lost, Watchmen) and Chris Mundy (Ozark) behind the series, I’m expecting this to be more than just a superhero story. Knowing the show starts out with having to solve a murder in small-town America, but then turns into something much bigger, while also having a buddy-cop dynamic, and ALL the Green Lantern mythology…there’s going to be a lot that to dive into. I’m really interested to see what Lindelof and Mundy bring to this world—especially the relationship between John Stewart and Hal Jordan, and how it develops as they have to work together. Give me complicated characters, interesting dynamics, and a little mystery, and I’m in. And then there’s Kyle Chandler. If for no other reason, I will tune in for Kyle Chandler. He has a way of making every character feel completely real, and I can’t wait to see what he does with this one. Coach Taylor as a superhero. Yes, please!ATX TV FestivalLanterns2026年8月13日

Halloween🎃 My Personal Ranking Of All The Halloween Timelines 🔪
09: The Ressurrection Timeline 👇 Halloween 1978 ➡️ Halloween 1981 ➡️ Halloween H20 & Halloween Resurrection My Reason Why its Number 09 👉 The return of JLC as Laurie Strode gives this a very cool & interesting angle, and H20 really does feel like a proper and a very well done satisfying conclusion. Then Resurrection happened and totally ruined and undid the whole victory and closure of H20, that's why this timeline is at the very bottom of this ranking. 08: The Thorn Timeline 👇 Halloween 78 ➡️ Halloween 1981 ➡️ Halloween The Return Of Michael Myers ➡️ Halloween 5 The Revenge Of Michael Myers & Halloween The Curse Of Michael Myers. My Reason Why its Number 08 👉 First of all Halloween 4 is a brilliant Halloween movie. But Halloween 5 just like with Halloween Resurrection, completely ruins and undoes H4. And that bone chilling ending of H4 with Jamie Lloyd standing on top of the stairs with the clown costume & mask holding the scissors. It had that sense of full circle to it. A direct replica of the opening in Halloween 78. They should have left it there and started a new timeline. 07: The Rob Zombie Timeline 👇 RZ Halloween 2007 & RZ Halloween 2 My Reason Why its Number 07 👉 I appreciate RZ going for something different but the whole dialogue and seeing unicorns 🦄 and stuff like that is not what Halloween is about. While they are beautifully shot and have good performances in it. There are major plotholes and how they made Dr Loomis an absolute douchebag in Halloween 2009 was unforgivable. 06: The David Gordon Green trilogy 👇 My Reason Why it's Number 06 👉 While there were some of the best moments throghout this entire trilogy of films; however it doesn't justify the fact that plot wise & thematically this trilogy is all over the place. What were they thinking with Halloween Ends, it doesn't feel coherently connected to the trilogy at all. 05: The Season Of The Witch Timeline 👇 The most standout and blacksheep of the Halloween franchise, in the best way possible. It's the only Halloween film that doesn't have Michael Myers in it, apart from the Halloween 78 cameo on the TV 📺 But as much as I love "Season Of The Witch" and am a huge defender of that film; however at the same time though, they shouldn't have put in the Halloween universe and should have just had it as it's own separate thing altogether. Because if you took the Halloween title from it and don't have any of the cameos; then you wouldn't know it was part of the Halloween franchise. And yet its one of my absolute favourite entries in the entire franchise. Season Of The Witch is a complicated one 😂😂😂 04: The Loomis Trilogy Timeline 👇 Halloween 1978 ➡️ Halloween 1981 & Halloween 4 My Reason Why it's at Number 04 👉 From here on out, it's just preference because from this point on I love every single one of these timelines. 03:🥉Halloween 78 & Halloween 1981 Timeline 02:🥈The original as a Standalone/One & Done 01:🥇🏆 🎃 🔪 The H20 Timeline without Halloween Resurrection 👇 The H20 timeline with how it should have stayed and ended. This is my favourite timeline of the entire franchise. Which really makes for a very good and strong Halloween trilogy. That's the timeline, I watch every single year. The undisputed champion for me, out of all the possible Halloween timelines is this one.PhysicalMedia4LifeHalloween2026年9月3日
The Diplomat
Please don’t ruin this series.
The Diplomat had one of the strongest openings I’ve seen in a long time. Every scene served the story, every conversation mattered, and the political tension was what made it so compelling. Lately, however, it feels like the writers are sacrificing that intelligence for unnecessary romantic drama and teenage-style emotional conflicts. This series never needed that. Its greatest strength has always been its sharp writing, complex diplomacy, and believable characters. Please don’t trade substance for cheap emotional distractions. Respect the intelligence of your audience and let the story remain what made it special in the first place. A great series doesn’t need more drama—it needs better storytelling.QHANEThe Diplomat2026年8月3日
Crystal Lake⛵ Crystal Lake TV Series 🚢
⛵Crystal Lake TV Series Season 1 Consists Of Eight Episodes Back To Back! ⛵There Will be future Seasons! 🥳 Showrunner Brad Caleb Kane has shared concrete plans and desire To continue the story further into the timeline toward the 1980 film, though official renewal confirmations From peacock are still pending. ⛵ I will add updates as I learn more, this discussion is open. If anybody has further information on future Seasons, please add to this discussion. Enjoy watching season 1 !! ⛵🚢⛵🚢⛵🚢⛵ Back in the day when Friday the 13th movie first came out, The first couple was okay. But then! They got carried away! Long story short, we've got a total of 12 Friday the 13th movies!! That's crazy and a little bit overboard I think. 😱 Plus I am not a fan of slasher movies or TV shows for that matter. 🪓 🗡️ 🔪 🪓 So I am getting ready to watch season 1 episode 1, and I'm hoping it's going to be a lot different from the movies. 🤔 As in better and more interesting. But from my research, it's still supposed to be a slasher program. After I watch episode 1, I will come back and leave my opinion on whether I'm going to watch any more episodes or not. 🤔UniqueMovies Deb HCrystal Lake4日前
