Mirai Nikki Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Max9. März 2026Mirai Nikki was the very first anime I ever watched as a teenager many years ago — and it’s one I can still return to again and again. In its own unique way, Mirai Nikki is truly a masterpiece. As one of the most famous early examples of the Yandere archetype, the anime introduces us to the sweet yet deeply disturbing Yuno Gasai. Yuno would do absolutely anything to stay by the side of the person she loves, Yukiteru Amano. Unfortunately, the two of them are trapped in a deadly survival game where only one can ultimately survive — and Yuno is truly willing to do whatever it takes. Yes, really anything. At first, many events in the story feel confusing, shocking, or even illogical. But as the anime progresses, the pieces slowly begin to fall into place. One twist follows the next, especially in the second half of the series, and the story becomes more and more intense with every episode. The strange mix of something oddly sweet yet deeply unsettling between Yuno and Yukki, combined with the concept of the future diaries and the constant plot twists, makes the anime incredibly gripping. Mirai Nikki is, in my opinion, an anime everyone should watch at least once. And please don’t make the mistake of quitting after one or two “disturbing” episodes. Stick with it until the end — it will absolutely be worth it. It’s also one of those rare anime that you only truly understand when you watch it a second — or maybe even a third — time.

- Naegi Wells5. September 2025If I had to choose one word to describe this show it would be 'Creepy'. Not Halloween creepy, but more 'A crazy girl stalking the main character who's willing to kill anyone she deems a threat of any kind to him, pining to be one with him, whilst both are at the of 14' kinda creepy. Granted this show is very well known for having one of the greatest and most well known examples of a Yandere in all of fiction, and that's probably the main selling point of the show. But as a grown man watching this show for a second time since high school, it feels far more creepy than I remember and thus makes it hard to watch. I feel bad for him, but its hard to like the main character when he's such a wuss. The main plot with the diaries and the death game to become god is a little interesting, but also doesn't feel very thrilling. That may be because I'm a bit desensitized by other arguably better thrillers like Stiens:Gate, but certain events and deaths felt like they happened or were resolved a little too fast, whilst the solutions for dealing with certain tactics and diaries felt unsatisfying. In the end this will remain a classic to the anime community as a whole, a staple example of Yandere's, the kind of show you recommend to someone trying out anime for the first time almost as a test or a joke. But for me I guess it will be an anime I could only watch all the way through once, ironically when I was younger.
- NonPlayableContent9. Juni 2025Watch it all as quick as possible. The impact of the story only works if you don't miss anything. Not an incredibly deep anime but the story telling lends itself to be watched as fast as possible.
- Daniel Gustavsson3. November 2024I only saw the first episode of this, but I wouldn't recommend it for any serious fan of this concept. It has some serious plot holes already in the first episode and is way too goofy.
