- Jay Marie Baileyvor 5 TagenTom Hardy plays this kind character so well (Alfie Solomons, James Delaney, Bane, Harry Da Souza to name a few) This series is fabulous which you would expect from the creator of series Peaky Blinders, it has a similar sort of vibe. It is crazy how strong the cast is. The set looked to be fairly accurate although they did miss out a lot of the London smog which was prevalent during that time period but can understand the creative reason for not adding that detail. I'm hoping that the rumours of a season 2 come to fruition. Although that said if it doesn't sometimes good things are best left alone to be appreciated for what they are rather than making sub standard productions to cash in on the populatrity. Did I mention how strong the cast is??? I still can't believe they put together this group. The series really picks up its intensity after the 3rd episode and what a finale.
