Positives: - The premise is intriguing enough - The performances are great - The film is very intense - The film is pretty grounded for the first two acts and realistic - The movie is extremely short and gets in and gets out and really doesn’t waste a second Mixed: - The 3d act is very predictable and generic and just plays it safe but it doesn’t necessarily affect the overall film - The characters are whatever characters but they are supposed to be that way for this type of film Negatives: - The film as a whole is very generic, predictable, and forgettable Overall Red Eye is still a solid enough film but a forgettable one that has nothing that makes it stand out from all of the other thrillers.

A slightly preposterous McGuffin and some wildly implausible plot elements keep this from being a classic, but a fun ride nonetheless.
