It is hard to imagine that this movie all started in the mind of a 16-year-old and grew to be such an iconic film! The characters fit together so well and seem to have great chemistry, taking their performance to a truly engrossing level. Bruce Willis is the hero once again, with Milla Jovovich playing both a damsel and a secret weapon needed to save the world. Sprinkle in a bit of comedic styling by Chris Tucker and you have a recipe for an excellent movie night.

It’s unapologetically extra—bright colors, big personalities, wild sci-fi ideas—and yet it’s got this surprisingly warm heart at the center of all the chaos. Bruce Willis plays it cool and dry like only he can, Milla Jovovich is magnetic from the second she appears, and Chris Tucker absolutely runs away with every scene he’s in. It’s bold, funny, romantic, and completely its own thing. Easily one of my favorite films—I watch it at least once a year and it never loses that spark.

- FairLeap8. februar 2026The Fifth Element is as old as it is brilliant. The remastered quality looks great, and it still holds up remarkably well. Hard to believe it came out in 1997, the visuals, energy, and sheer imagination feel timeless. A classic that hasn’t lost its spark.

- pipanni21. januar 2026Possibly my favorite movie with Bruce Willis at the helm and also one of the few movies I saw twice at the cinema. An incredible story that expertly mixes cozy settings with epic scenes, along with some very funny moments. Plus I think it's the only mainstream movie where the villain and the hero never meet and never even talk with each other. One of the best roles from Gary Oldman. The scene where he explains to Cornelius that destruction creates life is pure genius. Unmissable.
