Had way better world building and visuals than I expected. The dark fantasy atmosphere and snowy kingdom looked amazing, and Freya honestly stole a lot of scenes for me. Emily Blunt played her really well. Not perfect, but a fun fantasy movie with cool magic and solid characters

loving it way more than I thought I would. The humor is insanely fast, the characters are iconic, and it somehow still feels different from every other Disney movie. Kuzco and Kronk absolutely steal the show.
The movie doesn’t try to be overly serious — it just commits fully to the chaos and somehow makes it work perfectly. Even after all these years, the jokes still land. Yzma is legendary
I actually enjoyed The New Mutants more than I expected. Maybe I wasn’t expecting much going in, and maybe that’s why I ended up enjoying it more. It had a darker, almost haunted vibe compared to most X-Men movies, and I liked that it focused more on the characters and their trauma instead of nonstop action. The little Buffy watching scene was a nice touch too — it made them feel more like real teens stuck together instead of just superheroes. And seeing Sunspot half shirtless and no pants for parts of the movie? Yeah… I’ll bump it up a few stars for that alone 😂 Definitely an underrated late-night sci-fi/horror watch.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was way better than the ratings made it seem.
Fun, colorful, adventurous, and full of that classic Mario magic. There were also some really cool hidden characters I wasn’t expecting to see at all. Definitely worth the watch.

The Martuan is one of the best modern sci-fi movies because it feels grounded, intelligent, and human at the same time. Matt Damon made the survival story believable without turning it overly dramatic, and the movie kept me invested by focusing on problem solving, resilience, and hope instead of nonstop action. The science felt realistic enough to pull you into the experience, and Mars itself looked both beautiful and terrifying. A rare sci-fi film that feels inspiring instead of hopeless.

Tangled is honestly one of Disney’s most charming movies. The animation still looks beautiful, and Rapunzel and Flynn have such fun chemistry together. It balances comedy, adventure, and emotion really well without ever feeling too heavy. Plus, the soundtrack is amazing. Definitely one of those comfort movies that’s easy to rewatch over and over.

Pendragon feels like an old legend brought back to life—mysterious, emotional, and full of destiny. It captures the spirit of Arthurian mythology in a way that feels grounded instead of overdone, and the atmosphere alone pulls you into another world.
The Little Mermaid is pure magic—beautiful, emotional, and full of heart. Ariel’s story of chasing something more is timeless, the music is unforgettable, and the whole film just feels like a classic that never gets old.
Went in excited for this one, but it just didn’t land for me. The portrayal of Winston Churchill felt off, and it made it hard to stay immersed in the story—I actually didn’t end up finishing it.
If you’re interested in that period of history, I’d definitely recommend Darkest Hour instead. It captures the pressure, leadership, and intensity of the moment in a way that really pulls you in.
For me, it just comes down to execution—and Darkest Hour delivers where this one didn’t.
