"Miranda hangs up her own coat now?"
I knew nothing would come close to the original so for all intents and purposes, the movie was great. I understand why Miranda couldn't be the Miranda from the first film but I felt myself craving more "that's all" and "gird your loins" moments.
They did a good job of taking what could have been a storyline all on its own - layoffs in the time of consolidation and AI - and put it in The Devil Wear's Prada world.
All in all, if you loved the first, this film feels like some much needed nostalgia and fun closure.
Glen Powell + Mrs. Doubtfire + Football = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chad Powers
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Anything with Glenn Powell I'll see, even if he's an animated fox. But in all seriousness, my kids loved it. A bit scary at the beginning for my 5 year old but overall a fun movie with plenty of call backs for millennial parents.
