I was listening to the Friends at the Table commentary track and i think thats probably the onky reason i actually finished this. How do you make a movie where everything has to take 90 seconds youre rushing through 20 episodes of a show and at the same time nothing happens. The most inoffensive 1 star possible. There was nothing stand out good or bad. The acting was bad but not outstandingly so the story was bad but not remarkably so if there was a soundtrack it never registered to me. Really good movie. Lighting was a bit dark which for a movie chiefly at night is a problem. Had a lot of good humor i particularly loved the moments of B movie horror prosthetics. Very horny in every direction in a good way mostly. The ending was a bit long in the tooth. Acting was great. I enjoyed the pacing but i could see someone feeling it began slowly and i wouldnt be surprised. The Oldest Vampire being Irish REALLY hit for me in a way i struggle to put to words. I think if someone complains about the vampires being white they need to understand historical context. Its not just that theyre white its that hes irish hes especially at the time its set a minority but it doesnt matter its all the same. The distinction itself is to underline that theres no difference. My friends dad who i saw this with thought the movie was religious propaganda but i dont think its as simple as that. Its a movie with deep religious trauma running through its core and its not a movie that has a conclusive answer and i think its stronger for that.Sinners - The Bourne Ultimatum
