2025 - The World enslaved by a Virus
I watched the first 7 minutes. Really bad acting.
2025 - The World enslaved by a Virus
The Apocalypse
Richard Harris, an Irish actor, was a prestigious and talented actor. This film. alas, is well beneath him. I think this was a film just for the money or perhaps he was getting sentimental towards the end. He died the same year so he may have been thinking he better make a religious film to increase his changes of a good reception upstairs. Its corny and cheesy and not really a notable production. Straight to tv from the studios.
The Apocalypse
Zombies Have Fallen
Low budget and the actors deliver their lines in a flat tone like it was a high school amateur dramatics class.
Zombies Have Fallen
The Last Seven
Slightly stylish. It's not highbrow. More of a popcorn munching flick without too much intellect.
The Last Seven
Dark Tomorrow
Not for the intelligent
Dark Tomorrow
Daylight's End
The special effects aren't bad, the soundtrack isn't bad,the make-up isn't bad. Where it falls apart is believability. As is typical of american films, they seem to have an incredibly endless supply of ammunition. They would have to be carrying a LOT of ammunition compared with what they are firing. Lots of childish dramatic behaviour but no intelligent, mature planning. If they had actually been in this situation for three years as the plot claims, they have some very neat haircuts and beards and some of them are still wearing their police uniforms: that tells you volumes about their hygiene. Poor hygiene in human groups leads to disease. They're located in Dallas. It is full of all the supplies a small group such as theirs could possibly ever need for the rest of their lives. Yet somehow, with this abundance of supplies that such a large city would contain, they aren't very well organised. They seem to spend more time squabbling amongst themselves like impetuous teenagers, rather than getting their act together as adults. They have had three years to assemble vehicles.....THREE YEARS. They need a few troop carrying flatbed trucks and they have the remains of a national guard outpost right around the corner....
Daylight's End
Warriors of the Wasteland
"I nuovi barbari" also known as "Warriors of the Wasteland". The character Mako certainly has a cool hairdo and beard. The film is a cheap (low low budget) Italian knock off copy of Mad Max. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a sci-fi comedy or a serious post apocalypse film? Anyway, its a bit cringeworthy but worth a watch for a laugh. It does have some good ideas but the lack of funding and the cheesy dubbed voices pull it down. The costumes of the baddies are like what happens when you let a gay stylist who is into bondage re-fashion the storm troopers from Star Wars...... You're going to notice that a lot of silver aerosol paint got used in this film. Nadir is played by Fred Williamson the sports star. He's not bad.
Warriors of the Wasteland
Unacknowledged
Some, in fact, many of the assertions made in this film when fact checked are completely erroneous.

69 Parts
Slick and stylish. A few gaffs that seem to be deliberate to see if you're paying attention. A good watch.

In the Heart of the Machine
Plex says the audio is in English but it isn't and no subtitles are available.
In the Heart of the Machine
Riot Girls
This is based in the United States. For some strange reason, the mystery virus has killed only the adults. Regardless, even in 1995, handguns were incredibly plentiful in the US. The survivors, all children (for some reason unknown to medical science) would most definitely be carrying fire arms and not just baseball bats. I guess it is hard to make a film based on children shooting each other though.
Riot Girls
The Alpines
I watched it for 21 minutes and had enough. The actors are supposed to be adults with grown up jobs etc, yet they act like teenagers and it starts to fall apart as a convincing plot.
The Alpines
They're Watching
This is good. Be warned, it gets scary, Brigid Brannagh is quite 'hot' towards the end. Worth the watch, not for the squeemish.
They're Watching
The Last Earth Girl
Made from a very american perspective about the existence of a god.
The Last Earth Girl
The Quiet Hour
A thought provoking piece. Dakota Blue Richards heads up a good ensemble, I suspect we'll see more of her talent in the years to come. The casting, the acting, the music and sound effects are all very good. The science fiction animations are excellent. I think this film has achieved far above its modest budget, Even though the film seems to be set in England, it was actually shot in Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland. Worth a watch.
