- ReviewedKill Bill: The Whole Bloody AffairDecember 11, 2025Wow what an experience. I never thought watching both volumes as one self contained film, let alone in a theatre would hit this hard. This really does feel like the definitive way to watch Kill Bill. Everything is built so beautifully: the pacing, the story progression, the way the backstory threads in at the right moments. The homages to kung fu, samurai films and classic Asian cinema feel so genuine and so lovingly crafted. Chef’s kiss soundtrack too. I came out appreciating the entire second half so much more. It breathes better, it lands harder and it fits perfectly in the full arc instead of being its own part. It’s mad long and you definitely need to be in a certain mood to sit through this 4.5 hour cut again, but the crazy thing is it never feels long cause every scene counts and matters, what a ride.
- ReviewedZootopia 2November 22, 2025I enjoyed this just as much as the first. The sequel expands the world in a way that actually matters diving into hidden lands, buried history and how prejudice gets passed down when entire stories get erased or rewritten. It’s honest about the place you live in shaping who you become. And even with all that, it still keeps the energy fun and accessible for kids. Smart, engaging and way deeper than it looks.
- ReviewedSeven SamuraiOctober 28, 2025Wow. An absolute masterpiece. A journey of a movie. You can see the clear blueprint of character archetypes that went on to inspire countless films, shows, and stories after it. Every moment of character building feels earned, fully justifying its nearly four-hour runtime. It all culminates in a happy, yet not-so-happy ending that hits perfectly. You can feel the passion poured into every frame.
- ReviewedChainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze ArcOctober 25, 2025Chainsaw Man is back and this one goes hard! The opening’s a bit slow, but it doesn’t drags thanks to its sharp comedic timing. It’s well paced and doesn’t waste a single minute. Exactly what a setup arc should be. The soundtrack goes crazy, every track just hits and adds to the chaos and tension. I really liked the “City Mouse and Country Mouse” story too. It’s subtle but powerful and the way it loops back into the narrative and foreshadows everything is great. Once the action kicks in, it’s pure adrenaline until the end. Super hype!!
- ReviewedVideodromeOctober 18, 2025I don’t know what that was. Kinda portentous and obnoxious. Feels like even the writers didn’t know what Videodrome is. What’s real and what’s a hallucination? It keeps throwing curveballs just to confuse you. Like it’s more interested in being mysterious than making sense. I wanted to like it, but by the credits I was just irritated. I get that it’s about media control and how screens reshape reality, but it’s buried under so much bizarre body horror and pseudo-philosophy that it just collapses on itself. Feels like a concept that never finds its footing. Maybe I’ll revisit it someday.
