- Jim FoxDecember 23, 2025Really cute, highly bingeable, but not really a BL. In fact, there was NO physical contact between the leads at all and even cleverly finds ways to avoid them being in bed together - but this was by design. This series was created for wider audiences in Japan to highlight the need for a same-sex marriage law, and therefore it focuses on the problems couples who cannot access marriage face in daily life. It also shows that a gay couple can be excellent parents. This is very similar to 2025's Japanese series, "Chosen Home" which I had the same things to say. So, if you go into this series knowing that it's not a romance at all, you won't be dissapointed - and enjoy it.
