Single dad Count Dracula moves to modern-day Britain from Transylvania with his two children, Vlad and Ingrid. To his father's horror, Vlad - the show's eponymous hero - wants not to bite, but rather to fit in with his new-found British friends, but it's not easy when you are one of the undead.

When Malik shows an interest in her, Ingrid risks her chance to join the High Council by turning down Ramanga's proposal.

Malik receives help to defeat Vlad's secret weapon - the ancient art of zoning. Meanwhile, Bertrand becomes more convinced that Malik is hiding a dark secret.

Sun and HeirTrapped in the attic with the sun coming in, the Count tells Malik and Ingrid how his brother died and confesses that he abandoned Malik's mother. Bertrand finally finds proof about the shape-shifter, but cannot persuade Vlad to listen.

Erin turns to Malik to help her defeat Vlad, and when the Count learns that Vlad has reversed the slayers' mind-wipes, he decides to crown Malik as his heir.
