Security alert installer Jon Pratt struggles to keep the family business afloat, despite his wife Tess's teacher salary. When their son Andrew goes missing, the FBI suspects a link with Jon's employer, who lured him into tipping off robbers and sabotaging alarms, but they're innocent concerning the disappearance. Tess however secretly contacted the other prime suspect, Jon's estranged father Joseph Pratt, who leads a white supremacist group.
