But Mason refuses to let her go. He recruits his nephew Bennie Frier as an accomplice and follows Jennifer to Nebraska, where he intends to get her back - no matter what. Mason tracks down his one time lover, savagely beats her, and kidnaps her. He and Frier then begin the trip back to Wisconsin. It's a trip that will find one man bound and left for dead in the wilderness, a cab driver gunned down, and Jennifer herself brutally murdered.
