Beyond T-Rex goes from Morocco to Patagonia to unearth Giganotosaurus and Carcharadontosaurus, two newly found meat-eating giants that threaten to dethrone the tyrant lizard king. Their fossils raise many questions about the lifestyle, behaviour and evolution of the giant killer dinosaurs.
We visit the excavation sites and re-create their world using state-of-the-art animation. By comparing the subtle differences in anatomy of these fearsome creatures, we contemplate which giant really was the King of Dinosaurs.
