Edd China (and in later seasons, Ant Anstead) applies the elbow grease to bring the cars up to a nearly new condition, allowing Mike to "sell them on" for a profit.

A four-speed manual transmission was standard, as were non-power assisted drum brakes front and rear. The SJ410 came as a half-door convertible.
