The Wolf comes to the Great Moscow Circus and looks for his place. But then the light goes out and the Wolf, in the dark, without noticing, sits down next to the Hare, who is looking through binoculars. Having taken the binoculars from the Hare, the Wolf looks through them to assess the situation, but, seeing the "huge" face of the Hare in the eyepiece, in fear he drops the binoculars on his foot. Howling in pain, the Wolf chases the Hare.
