The story begins when Nonomiya, a woman who works at a small consulting company, reunites with her cousin Gamou Michiru. For 17 years, she had been running from Michiru, for whom she shares a dark past with involving a murder during their middle school days. Michiru takes over the company Nonomiya works and starts a consulting business for people struggling with their lives. Trapped as an accomplice, Nonomiya eventually starts to worship her.
