Having recovered a skull, the question is now whether it is that of the Mahdi. Information about Omar Jaffiri suggests that he may have been tortured before he died. His now adult daughter assists the police, event though she was quite young at the time of her father's murder in the family shop. What they deduce is a connection between the victim and the Fakir lodge, as well as the shadier side of government.
