Waffle loves it when they play together like this but Simon calls Evie for school - it is time to leave. Evie says her goodbyes together with Simon and Doug and she promises she will play with Waffle again later, when she returns home. Waffle is disappointed that his playmate has left but Jess cheers him up - she suggests they play doggy chase before she goes to work. Jess puts on doggy ears and chases Waffle on all fours into the bedroom where Jess’s mobile phone rings. It is Angela from the kennels, calling with news of a sad dog she wants Jess to examine. Jess assures Angela she will come right away and invites Waffle to join her. Waffle is very excited and when he arrives at the kennels with Jess, he still wants to play chase.
