A thief snatches Kalpana's purse and tries to escape with it but just then a lady wearing a veil follows the thief. It later turns out that the thief and the lady wearing the veil had been set up by Renu. The lady then returns the purse to Kalpana and pretends to be lost. Aparajita offers the lady help and agrees to take her home but Kalpana refuses to do so. She offers money to the lady but the lady refuses to take any money. As the lady prepares to return, Renu is disappointed that her plan is failing. Just then, the lady pretends to fall unconsious and finally Kalpana is forced to take her home.
