With an area equivalent to half of France for only 4 million inhabitants, the Sultanate of Oman remains largely unknown. In recent years, however, it has been welcoming more and more Western tourists. Vast deserts with lush green oases, majestic mountains and dream beaches attract all kinds of travelers for hiking, lazing around or sailing - a sport that Omanis love. The journey begins in the magnificent fjords of the Musandam Peninsula, where the rugged terrain of the Hajar Mountains meets turquoise waters. Further south, in Mussanah, is the country's largest sailing school, where Ibtisam trains for the Olympics. After passing through the capital, Muscat, the episode ends in the southern part of the sultanate, where the Bedouins are gradually adapting to modernity.
