Thousands of apartments are missing in Cologne, rents are rising, and poorer people in particular feel left alone. One person who would like to build on a lot of land immediately is Christoph Gröner. The building contractor wants to build a new city district in Cologne. But the building permit is still missing, he is far too slow. Cologne's mayor, Henriette Reker, says: "A city is called upon to make land available, to issue building permits. But can't this go any faster? Building contractor Gröner demands that politics stop putting the brakes on him. Already the first two parts of "UNGLEICHLAND" accompanied the millionaire. How much power do people with lots of money have? Who decides what Germany should look like? The film "UNGLEICHLAND - Power" explores these questions. A recent study by the University of Princeton in the USA shows that a small, wealthy section of society sets the direction in politics.
