"For years, people have been made to feel guilty by persuading them that they could save the planet by dint of small gestures. The problem is above all structural, economic and political. Starting from this observation, the writer, director and environmental activist Cyril Dion meets women, men and organizations that have shifted into higher gear: some advocate civil disobedience, others appeal to the law to encourage states to fight against global warming. In Germany, the activists behind the rescue of part of the Hambach forest, already 90% destroyed for the needs of a lignite mine, describe their strategies. And in Mayotte, Cyril Dion talks to activists from the NGO Sea Shepherd, who are behind the operations to save sea turtles threatened by poaching.
