Disguised in a ski outfit he smuggles the troll up the mountain in the ski lift. Sally has followed them though and has a suspicion that she knows who that mysterious friend who Max hangs out with might be. In the meantime dark clouds are gathering over Rabbit Mountain. A snowstorm threatens their expedition. At Bernstein, Ostering makes a surprising offer to buy the country estate from Mimi, but the question is whether she can make that decision herself. Everyone in the family is starting to have doubts about grandmother Mimi's mental capacities.
