October 9, 1882 - A former carnival act, Liz Dolthan with a phenomenal memory and her partner, Packard, turn to safecracking. They both ask the Wells Fargo agent to put their valuables in his safe overnight - her jewels and his $1,000. She memorizes the combination to the safe as the agent turns the tumbler. That night, she robs the safe. Clay becomes suspicious of her when she describes her stolen jewelry is such incredible detail, including the number of pearls and the serial number on the clasp.
