Every single month for the last ten years, Karen Talbot and her team of rescuers transport hundreds of animals from Georgia to New Jersey on a fourteen hour, overnight road trip through seven states. Meanwhile, in California, we take a look at Rosie, a Wheaton terrier who is on the road to recovery. With the help of her loving mom Angela, and dog behaviorist Linn Boyke, Rosie learns to overcome her deep-seated fears.

With the help of Operation Freedom Ride, and the shelter's fearless leader, this patchwork team is determined to get a number of dogs out of the shelter and on to their forever homes. Meanwhile, we learn the story of Rowdy, a misunderstood border collie who finds his new purpose.

Tommy visits Safe in Austin, a rescue ranch outside Austin, TX that is home to a Noah's Ark of differently abled rescue dogs, pigs, cows and goats. Meanwhile, Cobb is unstoppable in his new set of wheels; and Bubbles, the 'winking dog' gets a stuffed animal in her likeness.
