Where to Watch Those About to Die
- Junior ReyesJanuary 21, 2026Those About to Die, is for me, it falls right in the middle between HBO's Rome and the modern Spartacus series. It's not as political, nuanced, or historically accurate as Rome. But it's also not as gratuitous with the "swords, blood, and nudity" as Spartacus. It's certainly not groundbreaking television like The Wire or The Sopranos, but if you want an easy and enjoyable series to watch, set in Rome, on a Sunday afternoon, I recommend it.
