Thomas and Friends are back in series 21 for another fun-filled series of railway adventures. Terence the Tractor runs into problems on a frozen pond. Gordon and Spencer take off with each other's coaches, causing confusion and delay. Poor Toby has to work with a new coach that loves to go fast. And Cranky learns that two cranes are better than one when new crane Carly arrives at Brendam Docks.

However, she is so headstrong and reckless that Toby gets fed up with her urging him to go faster and faster. But when he abandons her and she joins up with James, she learns to her cost that going too fast for a little carriage is not at all wise.

    A Shed for EdwardWhen Edward's shed is being repaired he is first sent to Philip's shed, then the Steamworks, then Brendam Docks, but they are all too noisy for him to get a good night's sleep!

    The Big FreezeCold weather stops a delivery of coal arriving on Sodor, so the Fat Controller orders all engines to stay in their sheds. Thomas, however, thinks he has enough coal for one more run, but he gets stranded in the snow whilst the diesels take over the steam engine's jobs to keep the railway running.
